A suite of educational animations for patients experiencing psychosis.
This app provides healthcare professionals treating psychosis with a series of short animations that may help communicate with patients and/or their families and carers during consults. Besides a brief explanation of what psychosis is, audiences are encouraged to seek treatment and engage with their healthcare team in a variety of ways with the goal of improving symptoms. Topics include an overview of treatments available, the importance of staying on a prescribed regimen, and how diet may influence mental health.
The app is password protected and only approved Australian healthcare professionals will be given access. The password will be distributed by Janssen representatives. All users must agree to the terms and conditions and privacy statement before accessing the animations.
